For the Natural History Museum of Meteora and Mushroom Museum, winning awards has become… a habit. 101 awards in 10 years of operation is, admittedly, an impressive achievement!
In 2025, by participating in four different competitions — the Mediterranean Taste Awards, Specialist Awards, Olymp Awards, and Best Greek Food Awards — the museum won a total of 16 awards: 1 platinum, 10 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze.
This remarkable accomplishment places it among the most awarded museums in Greece, offering visitors a unique experience of knowledge and culture.
On this occasion, the museum’s director, Mr. Nikos Pallas, made the following statement:
“These distinctions belong to the entire museum team, as well as to the public who has supported us throughout the years. Surpassing 100 awards in a single decade is a source of pride for us, but also a commitment to even more creative and innovative initiatives in the future.”
