For yet another year, the Natural History Museum of Meteora and the Mushroom Museum received two important distinctions from the global travel platform Tripadvisor for 2025.
The first award, the Travelers’ Choice Awards 2025, concerns the Museum itself, which was named one of Europe’s top cultural and thematic destinations based on reviews from thousands of visitors worldwide. Based on travelers’ rankings, it is in 6th place in Europe among 1,365 similar museums and 1st place in Greece among Natural History Museums.
The second award, with the same prize, is for the Truffle Hunt in Meteora, organized by the Museum. It’s an experience that stands out for its experiential nature, connecting nature, gastronomy, and culture.
These two awards rank the Museum and Truffle Hunting in Meteora among the top 10% of global activities, according to Tripadvisor. They demonstrate the Museum’s ongoing commitment to innovation, high-quality services, and an authentic visitor experience.
